Fars

As part of the awareness-raising activities of the Conservation of Iranian Wetlands Project (CIWP), a total of 14 awareness events were organized in Fars Province during 2025–2026. These events aimed to raise awareness among local communities living in the project’s pilot villages around Parishan Wetland in Fars Province about the importance of conserving the wetland, available conservation measures, and the ecosystem-based approaches promoted by the Conservation of Iranian Wetlands Project.
