Meetings

The Iran Wetlands Conservation Project was launched in 2005 as a joint initiative of the Department of Environment (DoE) of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Global Environment Facility (GEF), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Its primary objective is to ensure the long-term conservation of Iran's wetland ecosystems by addressing and mitigating the threats they face through sustainable, ecosystem-based management.
